We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully completed our annual state inspection with the Virginia Department of Social Services for our three-year license renewal. Our dedicated team went through a thorough review covering:
✅ Resident and employee records
✅ Medication administration
✅ Policies and procedures
✅ Emergency preparedness
✅ Infection control practices
✅ Dining services
✅ Activities and memory care compliance
Interviews were also conducted with our residents and staff to ensure we are maintaining the highest standards of care.
We are incredibly proud to share that we had ZERO violations and are now deficiency-free for the 5th year in a row! This achievement allows us to earn another three-year license, signifying that our activities, services, management, and overall performance consistently exceed the minimum standards required.

My mom was a resident from 2011 to June 2013 when she passed away. She loved living there. Congratulations on your success.
Congratulations! My mother-in-law, Josephine, absolutely loved the Gardens. She enjoyed the activities, staff, and the beautiful facility. She started there in day care and eventually became a full-time resident in the special care unit until she passed in 2013. Thank you and — well done!
Congratulations! My grandfather was a hard sell on any assisted living facility. We talked him into The Gardens and he loved it. “There’s a lot of smart people in here,” he told me.
